CONSUMERS ENERGY

On its journey to becoming a socially responsible brand, Consumers Energy had to launch a bold campaign focused on sustainable energy.

Using emotional storytelling we created the connection to consumers to earn the trust that needed to support the brand message around the measurable vision of “Coal Free by 2040.”

J.D. Power rating, as well as IPSOS emotion scores significantly increased following the campaign, specifically tied to recall of the multi-platform digital TV.

The most award-winning energy spot in the brand’s history, winning three Emmy® Awards — Best Commercial Campaign, Best Director and Best Writer.

The commercials were all shot across Michigan, with local crew and friends. The custom song we wrote overnight in Los Angeles, and then recorded at East-West Studios for the soundtrack which is available on Spotify.

FLAGSTAR BANK

Banking had lost its art. The joy was gone.

“We do so many great things, but no one knows,” Flagstar bankers told us.

We crafted a multi-platform digital video campaign, capped by a Super Bowl TV spot for the launch

BRAND AWARENESS GREW 23%

Bankers found their happy place. The idea of custom solutions inspired the internal employees, who felt empowered to serve customers under the new promise of personalized banking.

Branding did its work. Flagstar Bank reported that within eight months of the campaign launch, brand awareness grew by more than 23%.

Producing was the biggest challenge on these commercials since the timeline was less then a week and all the local artists and craftsman had to be found and scouted. Once we had locations set, Directing the spots was very enjoyable as we got to focus on the details of each scene.
